Safety. ESD. Agility. The RF116 Apollo safety trainer features a highly breathable recycled polyester mesh upper designed to help keep feet cool and comfortable throughout the working day. The Activ-Step® Adherence slip-resistant outsole delivers dependable grip across a wide variety of surfaces for confident footing in demanding environments. ESD compliant, the built-in technology helps dissipate static electricity safely to the ground, supporting the protection of sensitive electronic components in the workplace. A water repellent upper, lightweight fibreglass protective toecap and penetration resistant protective insert developed by Activ-Step® Footwear Components provide dependable protection against workplace hazards and underfoot injury. In the RF116 Apollo, the upper, lining, laces and sock-liner contain Global Recycled Standard certified recycled polyester, certified by Control Union with License Number: CU1134495, Textile Exchange ID TE-00102059. The midsole incorporates BLOOM® algae-derived material as part of the formulation, incorporating bio-based content within the midsole compound. The cushioned midsole absorbs impact to enhance comfort and help reduce fatigue throughout the working day across a range of working environments. The lightweight design, combined with our anti-fatigue footbed, delivers lasting comfort, flexibility and support throughout extended shifts. This sporty safety trainer combines comfort, performance and selected materials aligned with Rock Fall’s Better Materials Framework.

Durable and Breathable Knit Upper: Made with 100% recycled post-consumer polyester.

Recycled Polyester Lining: 100% recycled post-consumer polyester.

Activ-Step® Cushion Max Footbed: Superior shock absorption properties, resulting in reduced fatigue to the wearer. Made from 73% natural rubber and 100% recycled post-consumer polyester sock-liner, certified by the USDA BioPreferred® Program.

Performance Sole: Featuring our specially formulated high grip Activ-Step® Adherence rubber outsole, tested beyond European/UK standards. Using the SATRA TM144:2021 test method we have achieved great slip resistance with the following contaminants: Cooking Oil, Fuel Oil, Water, Glycerine and SLS (as used in most cleaning products) and on surfaces such as, Quarry Tiles, Ceramic Tiles, Steel Tiles and Vinyl Tiles.

Advanced Lightweight Protection: A fibreglass protective toecap ensures safety without added weight and penetration resistant protective insert provides essential on-the-job safety.

ESD Tested:This trainer meets electrostatic discharge (ESD) safety standards.
