Who these terms cover

These terms apply when you buy wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession. Your statutory consumer rights apply regardless of the account label you select. Business purchases are covered by our business terms.

Products, prices and ordering

Check the product, protection standard, size, colour and pack quantity before ordering. Quantity 1 means the selling unit stated on the product page, such as one box of masks or one pair of footwear. Prices are in GBP. You can view ex-VAT and VAT-inclusive prices; the total payable including applicable VAT and delivery is shown at checkout before payment. Website order acknowledgements confirm receipt; acceptance occurs when we send a dispatch confirmation. If we cannot accept or fulfil your order, we will notify you and refund payment for the affected goods.

VAT on protective boots and helmets

Qualifying industrial protective boots and helmets may be zero-rated when supplied for personal use rather than by an employer for employees. Select personal use only if that accurately describes the supply. Safety shoes, trainers, general workwear and other PPE are not automatically zero-rated. Contact us if you are unsure; we may need to check eligibility before dispatch.

Delivery

Delivery charges and available methods are shown at checkout. Manufacturer or supplier availability may affect dispatch. We will contact you if the stated arrangements cannot be met. Unless you agree to a different delivery period, consumer goods will be delivered within 30 days. If we cannot fulfil the order within the required or agreed period, you retain the applicable rights to cancel and obtain a refund. Goods remain our responsibility until delivered to you or a person you nominate, except where you appoint a carrier independently.

Your right to cancel

For eligible online purchases, tell us you wish to cancel within 14 days after the day you receive the goods, without giving a reason. For an order delivered in separate parts, the period generally runs from receipt of the last goods. Return them within a further 14 days after notifying us. You may cancel by email, post or the optional cancellation form. A return authorisation helps us process your return but is not a condition of your statutory cancellation right.

Returning goods and refunds

You pay the direct cost of returning an unwanted item. We pay reasonable return costs for faulty, incorrect or misdescribed goods; contact us for arrangements. For an eligible cancellation we refund the goods and the cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence of return, whichever is earlier. We use your original payment method unless otherwise agreed, without refund fees. We may reduce the refund for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Limited cancellation exceptions

The change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply to goods genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised, or to sealed goods genuinely unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery. We identify an applicable exception before purchase. Simply ordering an ordinary stocked product from a supplier does not make it bespoke. These exceptions do not remove rights concerning faulty or misdescribed goods.

Faulty goods and product safety

Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for their particular purpose where agreed, and as described. You normally have a 30-day short-term right to reject faulty goods, subject to the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Repair, replacement and further remedies may apply afterwards. Manufacturer guarantees are additional to your statutory rights. Choose PPE through a suitable risk assessment and follow the manufacturer’s instructions; do not use damaged or unsuitable protective equipment.

Support and disputes

Contact us with your order number and details of the issue. We will investigate and explain the next steps. English law applies, but you retain mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in the courts available to you where you live. Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
